My Artistic World

All living beings are born into the vast embrace of nature, where no beginning or end can be seen.

Some are blessed with abundance, thriving in favorable conditions without want.
Others are cast into barren, unforgiving wildernesses—bent, broken, and scarred by their surroundings.

It is the latter that draws me in.

At some point in my life, I developed a deep affection for those resilient lives that endure in harsh environments. I began observing them closely, captivated by their silent strength and quiet perseverance.

This is why I chose “My Forest” as the theme of my series. Over the years, I have lived and breathed with nature, becoming deeply familiar with its rhythms. These works are rooted in traditional Korean landscape painting techniques, reinterpreted in my own colors and sensibilities.

During my travels across California, I sought to capture the gentle, quiet warmth that nature offers. Through my paintings, I hope to leave viewers with lasting impressions and moments of inspiration.

Going forward, I hope to become a person who, like nature itself, offers quiet strength and enduring beauty.
