The World of My Art

The theme of my work is pure beauty in nature.
I feel the desire of paint while looking at nature.
Naturally, the beautiful mountains, the wind, fog, wild flowers, pine trees and yellow herbs have become the subject of my paintings.

And so, the subject of my art in this exhibition are mountains, trees, flowers….
I have expressed nature with my own Asian classical painting technique.
My paintings are a mix of the Asian classical and my own exotic style.

My paintings have been expressed on rice paper, silk fabric or wood panel with Korean ink and colors. It is a modern expression of the Asian classical technique including the Korean traditional ink painting technique.
I have expressed the beauty of the flowers in my own colors using small and large hexagonal frames to depict the splendor of nature.
I have been using and developing the modernized traditional Korean monochromatic ink technique in my paintings for the last forty years.
I will continue to express the beauty of nature with my own artistic technique. Painting is my life.
